Love Parlor was a band for about 4 years. We played shows during 1 of those. We recorded an entire album of songs, which we ultimately decided took our hearts and efforts in a direction that went against who we ultimately wanted to be as people, and especially as men. There are so many toxic things in this world, and we decided against releasing most of the songs on that record as a way of not adding to that problem. But in those years we spent messing around, carving out every little corner of certain songs, and somehow being way too serious about everything in spite how silly we all are as people, we made a few things that may never be recorded "properly," may never have their lyrics heard or even written, may just be plain incomplete, but are still things here we wanted to be heard. Mainly things that happened when we got out of our own way and just let ourselves have fun with music. Some of these were written in a day, over a year or two, or as we recorded them on the spot. Thom and I really just wanted to put these out there as a document of our silliness, our passion for what we were doing at the time, and of the fiercest drummer we've ever had the pleasure to play with. Thank you to everyone who listened during those years, and anyone who listens now. You rule. 💜
